Retirement of LINDAL UK sales manager confirmed

Peter Morgan, LINDAL Group’s UK Sales Manager has announced that he will be retiring on July 31st.

Peter joined LINDAL in 1985 at the company’s Leighton Buzzard site and has been a key part of the UK business’s growth, which has seen a considerable increase in the volumes of aerosol valves and actuators supplied to UK and export customers over the last three decades.

Peter says: ‘’I joined LINDAL at a time when there were great opportunities to increase business and over the last 34 years, it has been a pleasure to be involved in the growth of the company. I have been extremely fortunate to work with some superb colleagues in the UK and abroad, as well as many different customers from the aerosol industry – I believe the prospects for continuing the growth at LINDAL in the future are good.

“I plan to use my time in the future to travel, attend many sporting events, drink Guinness and most importantly, avoid shopping trips with my new boss!’’

Joining LINDAL as Peter’s successor will be Rob Parkes, former technical manager and aerosol specialist at APTAR UK. Bringing with him 11 years of experience in the aerosol Industry, Rob will be employing his strong technical background from all sectors, including food and beverage, beauty and pharmaceutical.

Paul Wharton, UK Sales Director from LINDAL said: “We’re very much looking forward to Rob joining us as we begin an exciting new chapter at LINDAL. We are aware that Rob’s strong technical knowledge coupled with his extensive product development and account management skills will complement and continue to build upon Peter’s exemplary contribution – it’s great to know that our customers will be in safe hands.”

Phil Lever, Group Sales Director remarked that Peter’s substantial knowledge of LINDAL and the aerosol industry will be missed by everyone, as will his unique sense of humour. He added: “It will be greatfor Peter to spend more time with his family and of course, give more close atten-tion to supporting his beloved West Ham United Football Club! We wish him all the very best.”
