Tubex has been awarded with the German Packaging Award2021.

The „Cien pure & fresh“deodorant can has been awarded a prize in the category sustainabilty.

The  deodorant,a brand from Lidl, is the first can in the world to be printed with naturalink. Theprinting ink from PURe is free of mineral oil, palm oil, soy bean oil andcoconut oil and helps to save the rain forrest. Binding agents of the ink arebased completely on renewable resources without further chemical modifications.PURe and Tubex worked closely together to develop the sustainable printing inkfor Aluminium.

The print was the lastmissing part needed to manufacture the most sustainable monobloc Aluminiumaerosol can in the world.

The „Cien pure &fresh“can, is 6 per cent lighter than the previous design due to the used patentedalloy with up to 25 per cent real PCR inclusion – up to 60 per cent PCRinclusion is possible.
